WHEN LIFE IS HARD - WEEK 4

Because life is hard, many (most?) of us have learned that we can't really trust others. We've learned that trusting others can easily result in being hurt or let down. And while it takes vulnerability to try to trust again, there is a strength and an agency that comes with trying that opens us back up to hope and healing.

Message Series Description:

If the past two years have taught us anything, it’s not IF life can be hard, but that it IS hard. Things often don’t go as planned, and interruptions to our schedules and routines are now normal. It can be easy to see nothing but the storm when you’re in the middle of it.

But there is a truth that changes everything, even in the storm. There is hope, there is light, there is the dawning of something new, not just “someday out there” - but right here and right now. And we’ll be exploring this truth for several weeks as a church family by looking at a book in the Bible called Ruth, a story of how life and hope was found in the midst of tragedy and suffering.

At Grace Church, we believe that God has designed us and cares deeply about us, and we also believe that we can discover what it means to lean into that design and care to weather the storms of life.
