New Year’s Revolution | The Me in We
Over the many years that the Christian faith has existed, there has been discussion about what that faith entails. And part of that is understanding a dual nature of this religious expression & experience - that is, is our faith primarily an individual or a corporate (group) reality. The truth is that it is not a binary choice, but rather a beautiful synergism of the two. But one thing it is not (and this can be difficult for us in our Western culture) is private (secret or hidden).

Like clockwork, countless numbers of us begin the year with a host of resolutions - goals - that we claim to be what will make the difference for the days ahead. Sadly, many (or most?) of us find those good intentions in our rearview mirrors before January departs. However, there are somethings that can make such a difference that we simply can't afford to leave them behind. Sometimes, they are SO big, that they move from resolutions to REVOLUTIONS, if only we'll embrace them.
