He Gets Us | The Struggle
Jesus has gotten a bad wrap, and - if Christians were really honest - we’d admit that often that’s our fault. The Jesus we discover in the Bible was one who humbly walked through the same kinds of struggles that we do, and He still spoke and did love. And because He struggled like we do, we can be sure that He gets us in the midst of our struggles, too.

Jesus was different than you think. A real person, with a heart for people, His message was radical in his day and ours. Though He had endless patience with people, He had none with injustice. Furious when the poor were taken advantage of, He defended women and welcomed children. He taught and welcomed all. And through it all, He showed us that He really does get us.
