A LIGHT IN THE DARK - WEEK 5

Because of the brokenness of our world, trauma is reality for many (if not MOST) of us, to one degree or another. While some stress is good for us - it can energize us into problem solving, increase our awareness, or keep us motivated - TRAUMA has been described as a brick wall that disconnects us relationally as well as rationally. Every brick in that wall represents a different stress or stressful event in our lives that effects the way we live, think, and feel. But there is light available for each of us to shine into these places of darkness deep within.

Message Series Description:

Those who struggle in this life mayt often find themselves stigmatized or left in the dark. Some of us live in a darkness that pervades our lives that no one can really see. Others of us are trying to help those who are battling with mental & emotional darkness. We want to shine a light into the darkness by bringing awareness and Biblical perspective to the emotional and mental struggles many of us face. We are all called to bring help to those who struggle, hope to those to who hurt, and healing into the broken places of life ... whether you are facing the darkness yourself or helping someone else who is.
